Current Activities and Events February Field Trip PLACE: Ohio Statehouse 1 Capitol Square Columbus, OH 43215 DATE: Friday, February 26, 2010 TIME: 9:30 a.m. COST: Free We will be taking a guided tour through the Ohio Statehouse. The Statehouse has new interactive, hands-on exhibits that will challenge visitors’ knowledge about Ohio history and the workings of state government. Historical artifacts and images will tell the stories of those who designed and built the Statehouse and those who have come here to serve. Audiovisual media and theatrical effects will transport visitors to historical events and invite them to imagine themselves governor, legislator or judge. Visitors will leave the Statehouse with a richer understanding of its significance and a deeper commitment to its ongoing vitality. Please RSVP to Lynette Duvall by Friday, February 19, 2010.
